Hudhukede

Corals and blue water in the north-east

Hudhukede is in the north-east corner of the island, near Thoondu beach. A reef top at about 6 metres leads to a sandy plateau with coral blocks that slopes beyond 30 metres.

Hard corals are full of colourful reef fish, with hawksbill turtles and whitetip reef sharks on the reef. Thresher sharks, oceanic mantas and whale sharks can appear in the blue.
