Maaneyre is on the west side, at the old landing channel the island used before the harbour was built. The reef top starts at about 12 metres and slopes down into the deep ocean, lined with overhangs.
Colourful reef fish fill the reef, thresher sharks pass regularly and the blue water can bring surprises at any moment of the dive.
