Mobula rays, sometimes called devil rays, are smaller relatives of manta rays. They are fast swimmers that feed on plankton and are known for leaping out of the water.
They are sometimes seen in groups in the blue around Fuvahmulah, usually in season.
Like mantas, they are best enjoyed from a respectful distance, letting them pass on their own course.
